I’ve been experimenting with blending 3D-style renders and Midjourney’s NIJI 7 mode, and honestly… it’s insanely satisfying.

The depth from 3D rendering mixed with NIJI’s anime stylization creates this really clean, polished chibi look that still feels expressive and recognizable. It hits a nice balance between cartoon realism and stylized anime proportions.

  2. Write the full prompt given below
  3. Upload your reference image
  4. Click to the "Generate" and get the edited image

Here’s the base prompt I’ve been using and tweaking:

Tips that helped me:

  • Keep the background simple so the character pops
  • Use “soft lighting” to avoid harsh anime shadows
  • NIJI 7 handles facial expressions really well, especially for chibi proportions
  • Adding “in the style of C4D” helps push that clean 3D depth without losing the anime vibe
