Need Prompt Advice For Picture Frame Around Image

I'm having trouble with creating a picture frame around the images.

I'm looking to have a visual personal identifier on my images, and I want to try having a slender clean black frame around the entire image (starting at image-edge, not just within the image around the subject).

I've tried various permutations similar to "Picture frame around edge of image, slender clean smooth black border.", but nothing will give me a picture frame around the image.

Any ideas?
