| | Hi everyone I’ve been working on a render where I envisioned a Bedouin praying in the desert, with the Great Pyramid and smaller pyramids on the horizon, and his camel standing nearby. I’ve had good results so far, but I’ve noticed that the prayer position of the figure doesn’t quite match the traditional Muslim prayer posture (I’m unsure of the correct name for the posture) Without knowing the exact term, I tried the following prompt: A praying Bedouin bent down in the Sajjdah posture with the Great Pyramid and pyramids in the horizon and his two camels standing by, the photograph is shot by a National Geographic photographer –s 250 –v 6.1 Since this might touch on sensitive cultural or religious topics, I want to clarify that my interest in this is purely for the visual satisfaction of creating an accurate and respectful image. I’m not Muslim myself and want to ensure I’m approaching this respectfully. I’d love to hear any thoughts or suggestions on how I might improve the accuracy of the prayer posture in the renders, or if there’s a specific term for it that I should be looking for.
