This is a view of the Mackerel Cove in Jamestown, Rhode Island. We often drive to Jamestown in southern Rhode Island, about a 45-minutes drive from our place, to hang out at the Beavertail State Park with its Lighthouse and open access to both the eastern and western horizons. In this process we drive by the Cove, without ever actually stopping at it. This time the lighting conditions were beautiful after some clouds had just moved out from the area. I parked by the side of the road and took a quick handheld shot of the cove. I wish my 500px friends a healthy and happy week ahead!
