The day had already ended, the scorching and striking heat that our Portuguese Alentejo can handle us had relieved. After the Sun told me until tomorrow again, it was the Moon's turn to enter the scene! And she did! In a waxing crescent phase, she kept me company for the night. It was after midnight when I arrived there to sit beside an endless field of sunflowers. The Moon, in my presence, seemed to illuminate even more this whole landscape that only the night provides. I, far from the confusion, wanted to see it, I was looking forward to contemplating the elevation of the beautiful milky way! But she, stubborn, did everything to get my attention just for her. So it was, there I was admiring its pure and pearly beauty! But she, although persistent, was getting close to the horizon and soon would have to say goodbye to me! Already with solid red tones, as if she was furious for having to leave me, the Moon followed out of my eyes! Suddenly, as I focus my eyes on the majestic milky way again, I see a very adult and portentous sunflower approaching me. Leaving the middle of his group, who, like me, seemed to want to contemplate such beauty in the sky. ! Believe it or not, but this fantastic sunflower, asking for permission, sat down next to me and, also wanting to be away from the crowd, there he stayed with me in adoration!
