From a distance, a deep voice echoing through the seas and the cliffs. You arrived here and called it home, but now you no longer belong. You have grown from the depths of magma, but then you became the fire. You sang to sacred Gods and made promises through blood, but you soon became the devil in disguise. Truth needs to be said, so much has changed... And so the man answered. We had pure hearts and creative spirits, but our hunger brought back the beasts. We believed in so much while we were free, but quickly sank into a void, when we found we were not unique. We are just children in disguise, lost, gasping for air, breathing hatred and fear when encountering difference. Disconnected, disjointed, disillusioned, we push forward and avoid conscience, missing the vital silence where we watch nothing but our own breathing, feeling the pulse of the world around us, all as one. But now suddenly the clock stopped, and we just have nowhere to go. Our illusion of control collapsed and we have realized we are still as fragile as ever. Today is Earth Day, today is your true home day. Let's start the change? Photo Location: Madeira Island, Portugal (October 2019)
